Vanessa Lamoreaux is an artist and art educator. Over the years, she has run the creative gamut from training parents to serve as art docents in underfunded schools, to guiding preschoolers on their first art adventures. For Vanessa, helping others realize their capacity for creativity is one of the most rewarding aspects of her work as an educator. In her personal work she enjoys exploring new avenues in printmaking and soft pastels. Vanessa lives on Shelter Island part time with her husband, fifteen-year-old, and dog. She is dedicated to ensuring that Shelter Island’s Art Show & Craft Fair continues to thrive.
